SALES POLICY

If you are interested in purchasing a kid from one of our breeding,  please contact us to be added to our reservation/ waiting list.
To reserve the option to purchase a kid , a $ 100 deposit is required with remaining balance due within 10 days of notification of birth.
If your choice of kid is not available or if the animal does not meet our standards of quality, we will gladly transfer your deposit to another kid if that is your desire, or you may keep the same reservation to roll over into the next years kidding. If a doe dies and still has outstanding reservations, those holding the reservations have the option to transfer their reservation to another doe’s available one, or apply their deposit to a farm credit to be used on future animals.
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If for any reason a sale is canceled by the buyer, no monies will be refunded.

Deposits on live animals offered for sale are accepted at the rate of 50% of the animals total purchase price.  Once a deposit is placed on a live animal, the goat must be picked up or shipped and out of our possession by 2 weeks or the animal may be offered for sale again or a boarding fee assessed at the rate of $70/week.  Deposits can be transferred to another animal, but all monies paid on cancelled orders are not refunded.

All kids will be raised on heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized milk.
Kids are ready to go to their new homes as bottle babies at four weeks of age (or sooner) if you live locally and
are experienced with bottle babies.  If transport is needed, kids will be ready to go at 4-5 weeks of age.

All kids are to be picked up/transported to their new homes at 4 weeks of age.
If this is not done at 4 weeks old, a $10-a-day charge will be added to the purchase price of the kid.

If you are purchasing multiple kids and they are to be born at different times,
we will CONSIDER (but will not promise) holding your kids until all can be transported together if you wish.

Shipping and transportation is at the buyer's expense.

RESERVATIONS

Prices as shown on our reservation list are subject to change after kidding.
To lock in pre-kidding prices, please email or call to have your reservation confirmed.

All of our goats are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA).
We will provide an ADGA Certificate of Registry and transfer paperwork at time of purchase at buyers expense.
We will disbud all goat kids prior to selling unless other arrangements are made.

We reserve the right to keep any kid from any of our breedings.

We reserve the right to refuse any sale at anytime for any reason.

Goats are herd animals and require the companionship of other goats. We will not sell goats to homes that don't already have goats unless you are purchasing more than one.

Once an animal is sold, we cannot guarantee it's future health, growth, production or quality. We have spent a small fortune on quality animals from excellent breeding lines and have gone above and beyond to keep them happy and healthy; however, we have no control over the gene combinations created. We will only sell healthy animals, but once the animal has left our property we cannot be responsible for it's health.

We are require a first right of refusal with the sale of  animals.
We may also require rights to future collection of a buck (at our expense) unless a different
arrangement is agreed upon.

After kids are born and evaluated, purchase prices may increase.
